The palatial Royal Suite is the most luxurious addition to the otherwise extraordinarily lavish suites of the amazing Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah, Dubai. Designed by Opal Design Studio this glamorous two story private residence offers an unbeatable view of Dubai beach.
Vann-FID was appointed as the lighting and art consultant for this project and supplied a complete decorative lighting and artwork solution for the Royal Suite.
Lighting
The light fittings were all custom made to reflect the mood and functionality of each area of the suite. The bold and majestic chandeliers installed in the dining and living room are made up of thousands of amber, champagne and clear crystal glass components and the statement lighting installed in the foyer is made up of handcrafted intricate pieces of crystal rock glasses which gives a spectacular look, sparkling from any angle and appearing like fragile raindrops, each bearing its own universe within.
Artwork & Sculptures
We curated a selection of works for this magnificent suite which entails a blended mix of photographs, paintings, custom made sculptures and much more. Inspired by the sea and the beautiful calm beaches of Dubai, our concept was to create a feel of nature through art within the suite. All the elements selected work together to make a coherent design scheme where the feel is accessible and inspirational.
